Overview

These terms govern your use of the MyLocalReply service. By signing up, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We've tried to keep this straightforward and fair.

What we do

MyLocalReply provides a review response management service for businesses with a Google Business Profile. We monitor your Google reviews, generate personalised responses, and post approved responses on your behalf. Every response to a positive review is reviewed by a real person before posting. Negative review responses are never posted without your explicit approval.

Your responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

Google Business Profile access

We require Manager-level access (not Owner-level) to your Google Business Profile. You retain full ownership and control at all times. You may revoke our access at any point by removing us as a Manager. If you revoke access, the service will be paused until access is restored. In accordance with Google's policies, we will discontinue access within 7 business days of a written request.

All responses posted through our service display as "Response from the owner" on your Google listing, as is standard for all responses posted through the Google Business Profile, regardless of who posts them.

Pricing and payment

The service is billed monthly at the rate agreed upon during your onboarding call. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes (HST). We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.

If you're not satisfied with the service within the first 14 days of your subscription, contact us and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no minimum commitment periods. When you cancel:

Response quality

We strive to produce thoughtful, personalised responses that reflect well on your business. However, we are not your business and cannot know every detail of every customer interaction. If a response is inaccurate or inappropriate, please let us know and we will correct or remove it promptly.

We are not responsible for the content of the reviews themselves, only for the responses we generate on your behalf.

Limitation of liability

MyLocalReply provides a review response service in good faith. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to changes in your Google ranking, customer behaviour, or business revenue. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.

Intellectual property

Responses we create and post on your behalf become part of your Google Business Profile and are yours to keep, even after cancellation. Our website content, branding, and proprietary systems remain the property of MyLocalReply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
